Hotel a Mount Summit

“I arrived and was told my room had been sold, even though there were NO cars in the parking lot. The smell in the office was atrocious and the attendant was struggling to communicate with me, little English apparently. He seemed to be trying to sell me a different room but the looks and atmosphere of the place and his demeanor were so awful I told him I was not interested in a different room. He told me to go on the website and cancel, and when I did, he had marked me as a no show.”

“The ladies in the breakfast area were very friendly. Also, the front desk staff was very accommodating for our three Ball State freshman -who were there for orientation to watch their movie Love knight. and order DoorDash at 11 o’clock at night.”

“The whole hotel smells like dog poo. I wouldget a steam cleaner to clean the carpets in the hallways and that would make it much nicer. The rooms are not bad, cold AC and good shower, but the smell in the hallways is pretty bad.”

“Quiet and clean”

“The room was clean from top to bottom. The room was well organized. A place for everything and everything in its place. The breakfast items were hot and well cooked. The scrambled eggs tasted remarkably good and the bacon was crispy, but not burnt. The staff members were very cordial and extremely helpful. My one night stay at Best Western Plus in Anderson, Indiana was an A+ visit, all the way around.”

“Very clean, nice rooms. The beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The bath was well stocked with plenty of towels etc. Breakfast was very well done with many options for different needs. The indoor swimming pool was heated and nice. We had a very pleasant stay and strongly recommend this Inn.”

“There are several rat traps lining the hotel property. The pool was slimy and dirty. There was a long black hair on the toilet lid when we arrived. The hotel smells like cigarettes in many places and there are fragrance dispensers located in the elevator to mask the dirty, cigarette smell. The breakfast and coffee were subpar quality and we chose to eat elsewhere. The emergency plan was not posted in the room and you can see where it was torn down. “Room was not the cleanest. No carpet in the rooms and it looks like the floor hasn’t been mopped in a week! My feet were black with dirt just staying one night. Even after taking a shower your feet get really dirty! Looks as if they are trying to remodel but to me cleanliness is the most important! If you need a cheap stay well this is it!
